Primary focus of the Center research is in the ares of inter and trans-disciplinary evidence base health and medical policy formulation. Emphasis is placed on translational medical policy research and modeling policy processes using geographic information systems (GIS).


Specific projects include evidence based policies for aerospace medicine and medicine of extreme environments,  bioterrorism in a global setting, collaborations with the World Medical Association for health care providers; policy and practice for preventing the spread of anti-microbial resistance, and development of  curriculum and research  portfolio with the Boston University Medical School Consortium in medical crisis management.
